All current Equestrian Victoria Members who have been identified below will be eligible to vote on each of the elected positions for the committee.
- Any owner who has purchased a Jumping Competition licence
- Any current EA member who has identified Jumping as their main discipline preference within the Nominate Portal
The voting process will be conducted by an organisation called ‘ElectionBuddy’ who will send a link with the nomination to each member identified through the means above. The link can only be opened and completed once by the member receiving the email.
- Voting open – 28th November, 2021 (AEDT)
- Voting close – 5th December, 2021 (AEDT)
The member with the most votes for each position will then be elected to the Jumping Victoria Committee. Elected members who have obtained the highest votes for two or more positions will have to choose only one position to fill for the term. The vacated position will then be filled by the nominated member with the next highest votes.
Other
Once the election of the chair is completed, each elected committee member will receive a copy of the EV constitution, current bylaws and the responsibilities of the Jumping Victoria Committee. Jumping Victoria then needs to inform the Equestrian Victoria (EV) board of the new committee members for the EV board to ratify.
