My name is Sophie Belcher and I am a seventeen-year-old rider living in northern Victoria. I am currently completing year 12 VCE and juggling my sport around this. I am very fortunate to be a 3rd generation show rider and have the support of my mother and grandmother to teach and guide me. I currently have a small show hunter Galloway and a young pony to prepare whilst we are searching for a large saddle horse. 

I am very excited to be competing for the first time at the Australasian Show Horse National Saddle Horse and Rider Championships later this year. I will also be competing in the show horse section of Australian Interschool Championships in September. After a somewhat challenging 2020 with limited opportunities to compete, I am very much looking forward to being part of the Victorian teams for these big events.
