Following the government’s announcement today, the circuit breaker lockdown will end at 11:59PM tonight, Wednesday 17 February.

The key changes from pre-12 February restrictions to take note of are:
Face masks: Must be carried at all times. Mandatory when inside (except in a residential home) and outdoors when cannot maintain 1.5m physical distancing (unless a lawful exemption applies). Strongly recommended to wear when visitors attend your home.

Equestrian Victoria will update our COVIDSafe documents shortly in line with this announcement and the next COVIDSafe period.

It is still critical that we all comply with the COVIDSafe protocols and principles. Equestrian Victoria remains committed to looking after it’s members and the wider community by stopping the spread however this requires the co-operation and understanding of all of our community.

As restrictions continue to change we will keep you updated, however the six COVIDSafe principles continue to apply and should be at the forefront of your planning:

  • Physical Distancing
  • PPE (masks)
  • Hygiene
  • Record Keeping
  • Enclosed spaces
  • Work bubbles
