Staff Changes at Equestrian Victoria
We are delighted to announce that Jacques Manuels will be moving from his position as 'Member Services Officer' to a new role as 'Sport Operations Manager'.
Jacques has been the first point of contact for many members over the last few years. A keen jumping competitor and show horse enthusiast, he and his partner Mark Kenzig train show and performance horses on their property, Northampton Dale Australia, at Riddells Creek.
As the Sports Operation Manager ([email protected]), Jacques' focus will be on Corporate Governance and Policies and Procedures across all disciplines. His background as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (and a Jumping competitor) will see him apply his friendly yet systematic approach to manage this vital area.
Jacques will also oversee and provide leadership to our Sports Development Team of Deena Peters, Sport Development, Ashley Anderson, High Performance and Kim Jacobson, Workforce Education. Jacques’ role as Sports Operation Manager includes Youth Development & Pathways, a position recently vacated by Emilie van Sonsbeek.
We were all sad to say goodbye to Emilie, an integral part of the EV team, who left us to further pursue her studies. A huge 'Thank-you' to Emilie, and we wish her all the best with her future endeavours.
With Jacques moving from the Member Services position to the Sport Management Operations position, we now have a vacancy for a Member Services Officer.
This vital role provides customer-focused services to members and administrative support in conjunction with other EV staff members. Line management is to the Administration Manager. This is a diverse and challenging yet rewarding role within a dedicated team.
