Young Ambassador of the Year 2021 Applications have now opened.
“Shining a light on and recognising the future leaders of Equestrian Sport in Victoria”
The Young Ambassador award aims to recognise athletes who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship, performance, contribution to sport, and leadership qualities in their chosen discipline.
Open to all Equestrian Victoria members (between the ages of 16-21, 14 for Show Horse) competing in Show Horse, Eventing, Dressage or Jumping, the award highlights the importance of being more than just a winner.
The Top 10 Finalists from each discipline will attend The Young Ambassador of the Year Top 10 Finalist weekend, to be held this year on 24-25 July at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. The much anticipated weekend brings together the finalists with specialised training catering to each rider's professional and personal development.
The Top 3 shortlisted nominees are then selected and invited to attend an interview with the selectors, which will determine the Discipline Young Ambassador Awardee for 2021.
