Attempted Breach of EA Database
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO EQUESTRIAN VICTORIA MEMBERS:
Good evening, we have been advised that earlier this evening a foreign IP address tried to access the EA members portal by entering random 7 digit numbers in the "Forgot My Password" page. This generated a number of emails to members corresponding to those membership numbers.
This attempted breach was not successful and no personal data was accessed.
The originating IP address has since been blocked and an extra layer of security is being added to avoid these types of attempts in future.
We apologise for this inconvenience.
