Joint Statement from EA State Brances and the Northern Territory Regarding Equestrian Australia Voluntary Administration

Friday, 19 June 2020

Earlier today, the Equestrian Australia (EA) Board appointed Administrators, KordaMentha convened the first meeting of Creditors.

Over 1000 creditors, including many members were represented either in person or by proxy with the Administrators providing a presentation and answering questions. A link to the presentation via the KordaMentha website can be found here. https://www.kordamentha.com/creditors/Equestrian-Australia-Limited?discl...

The two (2) outcomes from the meeting were that a Committee of Inspection (COI) would not be formed and that KordaMentha were confirmed as Administrators.

The State Branches and Northern Territory are committed to providing members with the opportunity to participate in the process of reform and provide feedback and ultimately decide how the sport is shaped into the future.
