Show Horse Committee EOI - October 2020
Show Horse Victoria is currently seeking Expressions of Interest to become a valued member of the Show Horse committee.
Ideally applicants would have a passion for show horses, but not currently competing in show horse. A keen eye for detail to assist with competitions including but not limited to –
- The Summer Show
- Barastoc – Horse of the Year
- Show Horse and Rider Nationals
- The Masters Games
- The Young Ambassador
- The Spring Show
- Measuring days
- Clinics – 3 per year
Show Horse Victoria committee meets each month (via ZOOM at the moment) with sub-committees formed for the larger events as required.
The committee is responsible for governance and correct protocol for show horse competitors. It also has a representative on the National Show Horse committee which allows for an open line of communication to facilitate proposed rule changes.
A solid understanding of the Show Horse Rules, committee by-laws and the passion to work as a team within the Show Horse discipline is beneficial.
Applicants will need to bring no bias, be able to think outside the square and possess a good work ethic .
