Join Our Team - EV Youth Development and Pathways Officer Role
Equestrian Victoria is focused on supporting our young riders to participate in equestrian sport, developing skills and a love for the sport that we hope will last them a lifetime - and we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably skilled, highly organised person with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our team in a part-time role as the Youth Development and Pathways Officer.
The right person will have previous experience in a sport education role, be a strategic thinker, and be someone who enjoys ‘bringing it all together’ to deliver against plans for great experiences and outcomes for everyone involved.
The role involves: working alongside volunteer committees, supporting them to deliver events for the Interschool and youth segments of the sport; managing events including delivering the annual Interschool State Championships; developing content for social media and other communication channels to promote events and connect with the membership; engaging with the membership through regular communications to drive membership satisfaction and growth; and, liaising with interstate and national bodies as required.
