The 2023 Australian Interschool Championships Announces Official Partners
The 2023 Australian Interschool Championships, hosted by Equestrian Victoria from 29 September 3 to October, is thrilled to announce a significant naming rights partnership with Marcus Oldham. Marcus Oldham has come on board as the official naming rights sponsor for the 2023 Australian Interschool Championships, solidifying their commitment to supporting the grassroots equestrian community and showcasing their dedication to developing Equestrian sport in Australia.
With this exciting collaboration, the event will be named the Marcus Oldham 2023 Australian Interschool Championships. The agreement between Marcus Oldham and the Australian Interschool Championships represents a shared vision for innovation and the pursuit of creating unforgettable experiences for competitors.
“What better way to encourage the future of our equine industry than to support these young riders whose talent and commitment to their sport has seen them achieve and succeed to this level at such an early age,” said College Principal Andrew Baker
“With the launch of our Advanced Diploma of Equine Business Management with pathways to further study, we hope that some Interschool competitors will see Marcus Oldham as a valuable launching place to further their studies and advance their career into the equine industry.”
Marcus Oldham is Australia’s only independent agricultural and equine business management college located in Geelong, Victoria. Marcus Oldham equips graduates to succeed by being change-ready in an ever-changing world. Their unwavering commitment to developing the future of equestrian sport and business aligns perfectly with the mission and goals of The Australian Interschool Championships. Both organisations are poised to create a lasting impact and drive positive change within the equestrian community through this partnership.
Equestrian Victoria (EV) is also pleased to announce that the Victorian Government will support the 2023 Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool Championships through the Significant Sporting Events Program. This support is a positive step forward for the event and will assist in showcasing the best grassroots talent from around Australia.
EV CEO Amy Slayter welcomed the announcement, commenting, “The Victorian Government has a long history of supporting Equestrian and National level events in Victoria, and we are thankful for their ongoing and generous contribution to this event,” she said.
“We are looking forward to welcoming a strong estimation of 650 competitors from Australia-wide, and over 3,000 spectators, family members and competitors for four fantastic days of competition. These participation numbers provide great confidence to our supporters, including the Victorian Government.”
