Horse Trial competitions involve a Dressage Test, a Showjumping Round and a Cross Country component. All competitions must run under EA National Rules or International FEI Rules. There is only one specific Interschool Event (Tintern Horse Trials). Interschool riders enter open Horse Trial Events.
Currently, there are four National Team Eventing places, available at a number of levels, from the Interschool Eventing Leaderboard ranking the rider/horse combination's best performances between October and June of the following year. To be eligible for selection riders must register for the Leaderboard.
Please refer to the ISV handbook for further information about:
- Guidelines and Rules
- Current Interschool Classes
- Scoring (Including submission for Team selection)

Riders are reminded that you don’t need to re-submit an application following every event. Only re-submit if they you want to change classes or have a new horse.
Results will not be added retrospectively, but riders should advise if they compete at an interstate event so that it can be included in the Leaderboard. Contact Lynne Brown: [email protected].
